Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Utils7 or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Utils7 provides a cloud-based invoicing and accounting platform. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features to maintain compliance with German e-invoicing standards (XRechnung/ZUGFeRD).

No Tax Advice

Utils7 is a technical tool for document generation. We are not tax consultants. The software's goal is to produce legally compliant E-invoices and facilitate GoBD-compliant archiving, but the user remains solely responsible for tax compliance.

3. Evaluation & Trial Period

We offer a free evaluation period (typically 3 months) to allow users to test the platform.

  • ! No Automatic Archiving: Since the evaluation period does not constitute a paid service contract, Utils7 is not required to provide long-term GoBD-compliant storage for trial accounts.
  • ! User Duty: It is the user's sole duty to export and archive all generated files (PDF/XML) before the evaluation period ends or the account is terminated.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance. All prices are subject to statutory VAT (MwSt) where applicable.

  • Automatic Renewal: Annual subscriptions are renewed automatically for a further year unless explicitly cancelled in writing or via the dashboard one month before the current subscription period expires.
  • Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. Note: This guarantee does not apply to users who have previously used a free evaluation or trial version of the service.
  • Cancellations: Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the current billing cycle.

5. Liability & Accuracy

Disclaimer of Liability

Utils7 shall not be liable for incorrect tax filings or financial losses resulting from incorrect data entry.

Input-Output Condition: The correctness and legal validity of the output (PDF/XML) generated by Utils7 is strictly conditional upon the accuracy and completeness of the data provided by the user.

The user is liable for reviewing all generated documents for accuracy before transmission to third parties or tax authorities. Our liability is limited to the amount of the annual subscription fee paid by the user.
